Day: Return Trip
Alright sitting in the airport in Boston waiting for my flight to board. Well I will say this was quite a trip. Not that I did a ton, but it was just kinda, I dunno, interesting. There are some old people walking in front of me haha. Um yeah anyways. So yeah I’m just kinda sitting here. Well this became a boring post. Let’s look at a Bible verse, yes? Ok John 13: 20.
Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
Whoever accepts the ones sent by Jesus accepts Jesus Himself. As it says in Matthew, as you do unto the least of these, so you do unto me. We are called to love. Not just those who love us back, for even the unbelievers can do that, but we are called to love the unlovable. Do you know what that means? That guy that bugs the crap out of you, the old snarky guy in the corner, the crazy relative that you can’t stand, and even the stupid boss that just wants to make your life miserable, YOU are called to love them. I don’t care what they did to you, neither does God. He called you to LOVE them. We need to love them with all we’ve got.
If you’ve caught yourself struggling to love someone like this, I challenge to change your attitude. The same thing applies to me, and I pray that the Lord will help me change this in me. Thanks guys, until next time!

Day: I’m Back
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
So today. I watched a tv show pretty much all day. Not much to do here. The city is definitely not my type of environment haha. But its all cool. We went out to Fire and Ice tonight for dinner. Its this place where you take raw food, put it in a bowl, watch them cook it, and eat. Its really good oh and did I mention that its only 10 dollars for unlimited amounts of food? Its pretty much totally amazing.
Food. Wow you know its something I just can’t go without. I’ll bet you’re the same way. Unless you aren’t human. Ha anyways, we have those things in life, things we just gotta have, can’t live without ‘em. But you know. We can live without them. I’m not talking about food ha. I’m talking about the latest clothes, newest tv shows, coolest technology, that special girl. Whatever it is. You feel like you can’t do without it. It sometimes even possesses your mind to the point where you know you have a problem but you can’t cope. I get this way with some tv shows haha. Kinda sad. But I heard some great advice from none other than the college class leader, Charlton Hollon. And of course, he got this from someone else, but I heard it from him, so I credit him.
His words were along these lines: Its not easy to say no to something, but it IS easy to say yes to something. So if we go about trying to say no to that tv show, t-shirt, iwhatever, or special person, its gonna be hard. Its a lot easier to say yes to that desire than no to it. So why not replace it with a bigger yes? Why not, whenever you think of those things, replace a desire for them with a desire for God. If you do that, your feelings will eventually shift from that thing, to God.
Pretty solid advice. I did my best to take EVERYTHING he said down, but it was tough cause I couldn’t take notes in Baha burger, might seem kinda weird… Plus I didn’t have paper :(. Sad Day. But listen to this, proverbs talk about wisdom, its value, and why you should pursue it. If we left wisdom to lie, we would be as stupid as the fools and people that even God thinks are abominable. I like the verse I posted up there for many reasons. It presents an example of how you should pursue wisdom. Like gold and silver. How strong is that? Like more strongly than you desire MONEY. think of that one for me.

Day; Well Its Been Too Long
Sorry guys its taken so long to get back to you. I think I did mention at some point that the summer would catch up with me and I wouldn’t be able to post as much but I’m gonna be able to do it more often now. Why? Cause I just got a brand spankin’ new laptop that’s why! And an xbox 360 came with it. How sick is that? Pretty awesome if you ask me. Anyways. So how’s your summer been? Let me tell you a little bit about mine and the struggles I’ve faced thus far, and maybe you will privilege me enough to tell me a little bit about your own summer.
So. Here we go. School ended for me May 14th ish? Idk but I posted on graduation I remember that so I don’t have to worry about what happened between the 14th and graduation. Not that I can’t or anything, its just that, well I don’t wanna haha. So anyways. I graduated. Then. Hmmmm what happens next? Wednesday, post-graduation, I wake up for an early accountability group since Hudson hasn’t ended school yet. The next few days I spent hanging out playing spotlight tag, Time pretty much alone at home, and working. Tuesday, things started to change. I left for the lake a week after graduation and was planning on staying till sunday when, EGAD! I get a text message from none other than Doug Wright, asking me to go hiking, climbing, jeepin, canoeing, kayaking, etc. haha. And who was I to say no? So Friday I pack up and my mom drops me off in Mentone, and Leo Hudson and I climbed jeeped and ate chili corn pone while having lots of fun with Doug. Check Facebook for pictures.
Anyways, I come back and its time for VBS! Ha special needs was such a blast. So physically tiring, yet so rewarding in so many other ways. God teaches you such patience and humility in positions like those. Monday night I went to Sean’s house for a bible study, Tuesday Night I worker from 5 to close after going to the rope swing and seeing it cut down. Poor tree. Then Wednesday I crashed the BYG crawfish boil which was pretty fun haha. Plus doodles and lovely talks. Thursday was the day of work again so I worked from 3 to close. I totally slipped and almost did a split while cleaning up haha get that? Friday…. Friday I went to see kung fu panda 2 which was also really really good. I enjoy such humor. Then Saturday came and I departed for Boston was freaked out of my mind by these two girls, and Sunday Monday have been filled with little tidbits of interesting activity.
So that’s been my summer so far. What have you been doing? What has God done in your life this summer that you can tell, even now, has changed your whole thought process? He has totally re-ordered my thinking on myself. Helped me humble myself in many aspects and follow what it says in Philippians 2. I love you all. Bye now.
