Day 79: Again

So Sorry I left you hangin earlier Haylee, but that's just something I felt like doing. You want me to elaborate? O stinks for you hahaha. Well get this so today was pretty good I guess haha. I went to school. I worked a little. And skipped some class to watch my best buddy Leo play tennis. Had soccer.... yipee.... ugh... (btw for those of you who read this and were planning on coming to my game. Don't I probably won't play.) Then went to Sean... Colley? Collee? Collie? I dunno how to spell it but I will learn. We may room together, may not but who knows *which when the thunder and lightning will strike, which way the wind is bloowwing*. Anyways that was fun but what was really great was the speaker. One Jeremiah Castille. I'm no Alabama fan but that's still pretty cool if you ask me.

He is such a beast and he is FIRED UP! Fired up for Jesus and the Lord and his testimony is amazing. Able to bring independent men and women to tears. Truly a great man. But what he talked about was being fired up. Being FIRED UP for God! Your attitude on life is everything. If you go around sulking and telling everyone this or that sucks or he or she is the worst person ever, how can you possibly share the Love of God with anyone? HOw can you (or me... especially me) be a witness if you aren't fired up about God yourself. Who would want to follow someone who is apathetic to the Savior of their soul? I wouldn't. Just saying. Be fired up about the Lord. BE FIRED UP! Jesus died so you could be a WINNER! So you could be GREAT! and most importantly, so that you could use those acomplishments to glorify HIM! That is the central purpose. Glorifying the Lord our God with all we've got. Standing strong for Him and using every bit of our being to live for Him and show a passion for the life we are living here and now.

So get FIREd UP!!!!! :)

Day Numver 77: Dum Dum Dum its Prom Night Prom Night Gotta get down on Prom night.

So Hombre its prom night for many schools. And Vestavia's is tomorrow haha have fun yous guys. I'm going yes but its to Hope Christians prom so that should be fun. I'm also headed up to Vanderbilt tomorrow after almost noooo sleep I will tour Vanderbilt and Nashville before coming back on Sunday for a sunday afternoon practice. This will be an intense weekend. I look forward to it.  Now I have to study for an econ test and I have to do my math homework. Sorry I couldn't say more. TTYL!

Day 74: Howdy Y'all

Sooo whats up???? I'm in engineering right now and once again I can't do anything because my class is a failure. I really wanna go to lunch then go home. But today I'm goin to men's warehouse to pick out a tux for friday ha. Let's see how this works out... Yep off to men's warehouse and then a stop at target or something I dunno what I'm doing tonight cause we had practice this morning. This makes me super tired. I think I may sleep through chemistry today cause I'm just super tired of that class and we aren't learning anything new anymore. I'm sooo tired of this junk.

ANyways so this weekend guess where I'm gonna be? Thats right I'll be visiting Vanderbilt possibly making plans for the summer (as in when most of you are in school and I'm not because y'all are underclassmen). Its gonna be lotsa fun! I hope to attend there this fall I've been accpted and so some small financial details just need to be worked out in order to propogate the next four years. I'm ready for summer not for college just summer. Alright I'm done laterrr

Day 69: Carpe Diem

So for those of you who don't know. I'm just gonna get right out with it. I have a DEATHLY fear of spiders. Someone even mentioning spiders just gives me the goosebumps. This post is killing me. But I have to say it ha. If I walk through a spider web, Lord forbid, I do the stop-drop-and-roll routine to make sure I crush any spider that has any remote attachment to my body. It scares the poop outta me. I had a nightmare about a spider last night. Remind me to tell you about it when we have the time. I hate spiders. I want them ALLL DEAD!

Anyways we talked about carpe diem poems today. Interesting stuff ha most of them came from the late 17th and early 18th century writings. Seize the day or "Pluck the day" I believe is the literal translation. Take advantage of the time you have to spend with your loved ones. You never know who might be gone when you wake up in the morning. One kid made the comment that he skipped doing homework this past weekend because it was sunny. He was all you know what? If I die tomorrow I won't get to have enjoyed this wonderful weather. So I skipped out on homework. You want to take adavantage of the ability to spend times with your friends and family. I'm not saying don't worry about school, but have priorities and know what some things will leave you. You can't help it.

I guess you could relate that to my fear of spiders. Some people, myself included, fear sharing Christ with people. Some people fear that rejection so much that they just can't they cant speak publicly or they don't know what to say. Well Carpe Diem to you! they may not be here the next day so take advantage of any and every opportunity to share the Lord with those who are lost. So Carpe Diem! Hasta Luego!
