Alone. This world is full of people, all of them are alone. This world has been shrunken (if thats the word) down to the space that separates two minds. Globalization has led to people being closer and closer together thanks to technology. So every one of us is closer and closer together, through phones and email and texting and junk. The weirdest thing happens though. Despite the fact that we are closer through this technology, we are still further apart. We get connected through things like texting but we get more reliant on them and we become less apt at talking in person. We are less able to communicate our feelings, to talk openly with one another. Instead of telling people my thoughts about everything, I have to make one gneral statement over a blog, that is impossible to dictate emotion with. We are separated from each other by a wall far greater than anything we ever had before. We cannot fight this separation. WE cannot fight technology. We have to adapt. But we have to adapt in a way that allows us to keep our communication form. We must, MUST, keep our ideas and our free speech. The constriction of our speech through technology is a action that we cannot fight, but must adapt with. Thus, I find that we are alone, but we have to learn to communicate. Remain together. But you are alone.
